Chelsea Legend Petr Cech Denies Having Signed For Arsenal
Cech was said to be looking for a move away from the club that he has served since 2004, after losing his place in the first team to Thibaut Courtois.
Arsenal are set to be the preffered choice as the blue’s stopper wants to stay in London.
Cech, who holds the record for most Clean-sheet’s in English Premier League history, retweeted a tweet on Monday night, denying rumours of having finalising any deals.

Even though Cech is 33, he is still in perfectly good shape and considerably young for a goal-keeper.
In recent interview Chelsea captain John Terry was full of praises for the Czech international, claiming that he would save “12 to 15 points a season” for whichever he joins.
“I am sure if he does leave the club, which nobody wants to see, but we understand he wants to play football, he is going to be sorely missed. He will improve whatever side he goes to,” Terry said.
“There is obviously talk of Arsenal signing Petr and if they do get Pete, that will strengthen them for sure. He will save them 12 to 15 points a season.”
While manager Jose Mourinho is ok with Petr Cech leaving, he does not want to let him go to another premier league club, specially one who is a direct-rival and title contender, but owner Roman Abramovich and the board, feel that after 11 years of outstanding service, Cech should be granted his wish to play regular Premier League football in London next season.
But, Cech is just 33, still in the prime of life for a goalkeeper, arguably still the equal of Thibaut Courtois and among the world’s best.
