Barcelona Finds A New Xavi In Simmons
As we all know that the Barcelona fans with a very heavy heart bid goodbye to one of its most successful midfielders Xavi as he left for Qatar to join Al-Sadd on a two-year deal. Sources reveal that Barcelona has already found a new replacement for Xavi in a wonder kid from the club’s youth squad who coincidentally shares the same name with the Spanish legend and plays exactly like him.
Xavi Hernandez anchored the Barca midfield for 18 seasons and holds a record of winning 28 trophies which no other Spanish footballer has been able to achieve.
He also made 133 international appearences for Spain, and has won two Euro Cups and the 2010 World Cup.

There is a very interesting story behind the naming of this wonder kid. He was born in Amsterdam in the year 2003. His father is a former footballer Regillio Simons and is a huge Xavi Hernandez fan. Peggy her mother also follows Xavi very closely and happens to be a crazy fan. Therefore they named their son after the legendary Barcelona midfielder.
