Chelsea manger Antonio Conte could soon face the sack, according to reports from Spanish daily Marta.
According to Marta, Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has already made up his mind to sack Conte at the end of the season.
The newspaper claims that Conte has barely spoken to Abramovich in recent weeks.
Instead, communication with the top powers at Chelsea goes through director Marina Granovskaia.
The west London club have had a mixed start to their Premier League campaign this season, and are currently placed fourth in the league table,nine points behind leaders Manchester City.
Chelsea were thrashed 3-0 at Roma on Tuesday in the Champions League and speculation is rife that the players are unhappy with manager Antonio Conte.
Conte, took charge of Chelsea in April 2016, and enjoyed a successful campaign as the Blues ended the season as the Premier League winners 2016-17.
However, with Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City running havoc in the Premier League this season, the Chelsea have lost ground in the title race, and with results in Europe also not going in favour of Chelsea, Antonio Conte is under immense pressure to deliver more.
According to reports, Chelsea have already started looking for a replacement for next season and Roman Abramovich is waiting for the right moment to sack Antonio Conte.
The immediate test for Antonio Conte would be to deliver three points as Chelsea take on Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United at Stamford Bridge on Sunday in the Premier League.
