Conte left Juventus in 2014 and went on to coach the Italian national team, before joining Chelsea just days after the EURO 2016.
However, Raiola has claimed that he could have ended up at Milan just after leaving Juventus – as he tried to lure the Italian into joining the Rossoneri.
Raiola also added that Conte could have helped turn the tide in the San Siro outfits favour, as he could have helped Milan break Juve’s dominance in the Serie A.
Mino said that Conte could have easily won the league for Milan in the three years time since leaving Juventus.
Asked about Conte, the Italian super agent told Corriere dello Sport: “Three years ago I wanted to take him to Milan.”
“If that would have happened, the Rossoneri would be champions of Italy today.”
“I admire Antonio’s professionalism, he always wants to win. I am not surprised he did at Chelsea.”
Antonio managed to win the Premier League in his first season with Chelsea and despute strong interest from Inter Milan, the 47-year-old is set to sign a new deal with the Blues.
