Barcelona’s Lionel Messi And Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo Lead Tributes To Horrific Terror Attack

Barcelona and Real Madrid players joined the football world to pay their tributes to terror attack victims in Las Ramblas.

Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Luis Suarez and Gareth Bale were among the many other players in Spain who took to social media to pay their tributes while Premier League stars Alexis Sanchez and Anthony Martial also prayed for the victims.

Terrorists killed 13 people and injured 64 in Barcelona as they drove through the tourist district Las Ramblas in a rented van mowing down helpless pedestrians.

Police have confirmed that one man has been arrested while another has been reportedly shot dead in a fight with the cops.

Pandemonium broke lose after the horrific incident and cops wearing black and carrying machine guns were spotted raiding the Boqueria open-air market and were also assisted by regular police forces armed with pistols.

A video footage showed people being evacuated as the cops sealed and surrounded the area.

According to reports, the van escaped a security checkpoint hitting three police officers before mowing down terrified tourists on Las Ramblas.

Police have secured the van used in the terror attack and confirmed that there were no explosives inside.
