And he is ready to phase out Ivanovic and Cahill, who are both now in their 30s.
The proceeding went downhill for the Blues when Cahill gifted a pass that sealed Arsenal’s first goal delivered by Alexis Sanchez.
According to the Mail, Conte has his eye on signing a new full-back and two centre-backs after Brazil international Luiz’s problems at the back left him unconvinced after re-signing the 29-year-old.
Conte said, “I was angry but my players were also angry because we weren’t satisfied with our performance.”
Chelsea have kept just one clean sheet in nine games this season.
The Italian further added, “I have to find the solution very soon because I think that we played a very bad game.
“When you have a bad performance, we have a bad performance together — me first, my staff second, then the players.”
Branislav Ivanovic, targeted for stick from Blues fans who were furious at the side’s spineless display, accepted Chelsea got what they deserved.
He said to the press, “We didn’t believe in what we were doing at the beginning and we were punished.
“As a team we didn’t answer anything the manager asked of us.
“We have to put more attention on the small details. It hurts all of us but the opinion of everyone in the dressing room was in the same direction.
“We have to stick together, work hard, and believe in what we are doing.”
