Argentina have already managed to qualify for the knock-out stage and will look to make it three wins in a row as they face Bolivia on Tuesday. No other team has managed to secure all the six points in the group stage and Argentina have the chance to make it happen if they beat Bolivia.
Argentina had a dream start to their campaign as they outplayed defending Champions Chile 2-1 in their opening fixture and humiliated Panama 5-0 in their next game. Messi did not feature in the opening game against Chile but he won a million hearts with his incredible hat-trick against Chile after coming to the pitch as a substitute in the 61st minute.
Lionel Messi scored an incredible hat-trick off the bench to set up an easy victory for Argentina against the 10-man Panama side. Nicolas Otamendi and Sergio Aguero were the others to score in that game.
On the contrary Bolivia will only play for pride as they are already out of the competition following a 2-1 defeat against both Panama and Chile. However they will search for something to take back home in Tuesday’s clash against Argentina. It will be interesting to see how they approach the game and whether they can restrict Argentina to a draw or scoop an unexpected win.
