Aston Villa vs Man City

Aston Villa will face Manchester City at home in Villa Park which will also see new Remi Garde as the successor to Tim Sherwood on Sunday.

Sitting at the bottom, the hosts will look to win this game against a strong Manchester City side.

Manuel Pellegrini’s side come into this match at the top of the table, ahead of Arsenal on goal difference after losing just twice in their first 11 outings of the 2015-16 season.

Villa have secured just one point at home this season, losing four of their five fixtures at Villa Park so far this season, leaving the team with the worst home record in the Premier League this season.

The team have been struggling to score goals, netting just 10 times in their first 11 matches – only Stoke City have scored fewer times. Summer signing Jordan Ayew has scored in their last two league fixtures though.

Arsenal vs Tottenham

Its the 181st North London Derby as Arsenal face Tottenham at the Emirates Stadium with three Premier League points at stake on Sunday.

The last time these two sides met, two Mathieu Flamini strikes saw Arsenal win the Capital One Cup tie. However, the league fixture could be a very different affair.

Arsene Wenger and Mauricio Pochettino both will battle their wits in the this crucial match, with Chelsea’s woes continuing after being hammered by Stoke City, its a clear opening for these two London clubs to cement their fortunes.

Spurs have won just once at Arsenal turf, and they come brimming with confidence as star striker Harry Kane is back in form.

Liverpool vs Crystal Palace

Liverpool come into the League on high after registering a win in the Europa league clash.

The Reds have enjoyed an unbeaten run in all competitions since Jurgen Klopp replaced Brendan Rodgers in October. Liverpool will be looking for a fourth consecutive win when they face the London outfit on Sunday.

Palace, on the other hand, come into the fixture after a 0-0 draw against Manchester United. The Eagles dominated when they faced Louis van Gaal’s side at Selhurst Park and Alan Pardew will be hoping his side can put up a similar performance when they face Liverpool.

Both teams will field their best 11, but Palace have doubts regarding the fitness of Connor Wickham and Gayle. They might also have to do without the services of Marouane Chamakh. Liverpool do not have any such problem, and Klopp has an array of players at his disposal to choose from in this clash.
