New signing Gonzalo Higuain took an innovative initiative to meet Juventus fans as the €90 million went out in his balcony and unveiled his number 9 jersey to Bianconeri fans waiting outside.
Higuain looked happy to have signed for what is currently the biggest club in Italy and Juventus’ official account posted a video on Instagram.

Higuain takes over the coveted number 9 Juve shirt from Alvaro Morata who has joined Real Madrid.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Filippo Inzaghi, Gianluca Vialli, Paolo Rossi, Pietro Anastasi, John Charles are some of the former superstars to have worn the famed jersey for the Old Lady.
Higuain sported the same number 9 jersey at napoli, where he became a fan favorite during his 3 years at the club, but failed to win any silverware with the Italian giants.
Higuain had a record-breaking season with Napoli in 2015/16 as the Argentinian international went on to score 36 goals in 35 appearances, breaking Gunnar Nodahl’s goal-scoring record in Serie A.
Higuain has now become the third most expensive player of all time, behind only Real Madrid’s Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo, while also becoming Juventus’ most expensive signing of all time.
