10. Samir Nasri

French international Samir Nasri is a natural playmaker, Nasri was hailed to be an impeccable footballer for Arsenal and his partnership with Cesc Fabregas used to shake opponents defense with their passes and vision alone.

Nasri was given the creative freedom by Wenger to attack while Fabregas would start the attack from the back. But, since his move to Manchester City, Nasri hasn’t been the same player that he was at Arsenal, and even though he is still one of City’s best player, he still hasn’t reached his potential at the Etihad stadium.

9. Joe Cole

A star at Chelsea and touted to be England’s next star winger. Cole had everything quickness, agility and a good eye for ball.

Cole’s strength was he could score goals from nowhere every now and then. But a serious injury started a decline in his career, so much so as he has spent the last seven years on loans at various clubs, currently playing for Coventry City in third division.

8. Emmanuel Adebayor

Emmanuel Adebayor started his career in France just like many of his fellow african footballers. He played for Metz for the first two seasons before moving to AS Monaco for two more seasons.

The Togolese striker joined Arsenal for a fee of just £3 million in the January of 2006. Adebayor found the net 62 times in 142 appearances for the Gunners, a very decent scoring rate, he then joined Manchester City and was a success in the blue half of Manchester too, before a flop move to Arsenal’s most hated rivals Tottenham.

7. Fabio Coentrao

Coentrao started of well at Real Madrid after signing for them for a fee of €30 million. Here came a young Portuguese left back who with attacking mindset and who would run forward to provide crosses and create scroing opportunities.

A string of poor performances after an injury made him lose his place in the starting eleven. He is playing for AS Monaco on loan and has been excluded from Portugal’s squad for the EUROs 2016 due to an injury.

6. Robin Van Persie

Van Persie became the successor to Thiery Henry and was hugely succesful during his time with the Gunners.

The former Arsenal captain was destined to become an Arsenal legend and retire at the club but the Netherland international joined Manchester United in order to win the Premier League title and even though he had a great first season, winning the golden boot and the league title but was dropped from the team in the second season and sold to Turkish side Fenerbahçe where he has struggled to make any impact.

5. Phil Jones

The England international can play in many positions from centre back to right back to defensive midfielder, but after a good start to his career at Manchester United, Jones has since struggled to maintain his form for the Red Devils.

Though Phil still has a good eye for tackles he is often fooled by strikers to dive in and take advandtage.

4. Andriy Shevchenko

The Ukranian forward was one of the best players of his generations. A deadly striker who would give nightmares to any goalkeeper, Shevchenko scored 175 goals for AC Milan before a big money move to Chelsea.

Shevchenko never really got going at Stamford Bridge as the Rossoneri legend struggled to find back of the net during his stay in London.

3. Federico Macheda

Macheda had flying start to his Manchester United career, scoring a debut goal against Everton. He helped United convert draws into wins on multiple occassions.

A lot was expected from the Italian winger but he coldn’t cope up with expectations and soon his performances dipped. Macheda now plays for Nottingham Forest on loan from Cardiff City.

2. Mario Balotelli

Balotelli was touted as the next big thing in Europe, and even had a great start to his career at Inter and he had successful spell at both Manchester City and AC Milan, and even though the Italian striker always managed to create controversies, he was still very succesful on the pitch.

But a move to Liverpool turned out to be the game changer for Super Mario, he scored just one goal in sixteen appearances for the Reds and even a loan move back to AC Milan has not helped him regain his old form.

1. Radamel Falcao

Falcao was one of the most feared striker till about 2 years back, tearing apart defenses at will. But a knee injury kept him out for months and he hasn’t been the same player ever since.

A disastrous loan move to Manchester United was followed by a injury filled loan move to Chelsea. Falcao has only managed five goals in four one appearances in the last two seasons.
