Chelsea CIVIL WAR: Emenalo Desperate To Bring Back Lukaku But Conte Wants Morata

Published on:

Current Premier League leaders Chelsea are now in a £70 million dilemma over which striker to sign in the upcoming summer transfer window.

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is keen on roping in Real Madrid star Alvaro Morata as he believes that the Spanish player could play a pivotal role in their title defense next season and would also bolster the attack as the Blues return to European football next term.

The £70 million-rated ex-Juventus striker is on Antonio Conte’s radar as the Italian looks to find a replacement for Diego Costa whose future at the club seems uncertain.

Alvaro Morata is finding it hard to feature regularly for the Los Blancos and is now in search of a new club to aspire his dreams.

The Blues failed in their bid to sign him last summer, as Real Madrid were not willing to part ways with their Spanish star.

On the contrary, Blues technical director Michael Emenalo wants to bring back Everton contract rebel Romelu Lukaku.

Former Chelsea player Romelu Lukaku is now set to part ways with Everton after he reversed his decision to sign a new deal at Goodison Park.

Earlier in December, the Belgian striker’s agent Mino Raiola had claimed that he was 99.9999 per cent sure that Lukaku would agree terms over a new deal with the Toffees.

Romelu LukakuThe Belgian superstar has refused to sign a new £130,000-a-week contract with the Toffees as he is aware that he can pocket more cash elsewhere.

And now he is under the radar of top-notch European clubs, who are keen on securing his services in the summer.

Foottheball sources have revealed that Everton would set an asking price of £70million for their key player and they know that only few could clubs could splurge the cash.

Lukaku has been linked with a move back to his former club after he reversed his decision to sign a new deal at Everton.

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has now asked for a £200million summer transfer budget as they are now set to return to Champions League.

After taking charge at Stamford Bridge in the summer Antonio Conte has found the perfect balance with his 3-4-3 formation and has guided Chelsea to the top of the Premier League table and into the semi-final of FA Cup.

However, it has not stopped the Italian from searching the market for more reinforcements ahead of their Champions League return next season.

Michael Emenalo wants to bring back the Belgian striker at Chelsea having landed him there in 2011 as a youngster.

Lukaku has a vast experience of Premier League football and this has convinced Emenalo to make a move for the Belgian, who is the league’s top scorer so far with 21 goals to his name.

Romelu LukakuLukaku is now set to part ways with Everton after he reversed his decision to sign a new deal at Goodison Park with his team-mate Yannick Bolasie claiming his friend has a ‘big plan’.

Chelsea are now keen on securing the services of a superstar striker after Diego Costa has been linked again with a mega-money money offer from the Chinese Super League and Conte is also eyeing to offload Belgian striker Batshuayi in the summer – only a season after roping him in.

And even if Chelsea do not lose any of their main strikers in the summer, they are now eyeing to make some big signings in the summer.

The Blues are currently at top of the Premier League table – 10 point ahead of second placed Spurs. It is believed that they are edging closer to clinch a second title in three seasons and the Chelsea hierarchy are keen on adding more reinforcements, keeping in mind European football next season.
