Real Madrid skipper Sergio Ramos has called on fans for support after the team were booes by their own fans in Saturday’s win over Malaga.

The Los Blancos skipper urged fans to be more supportive after scoring the match winning goal.

Ramos scored twice in the final ten minutes to earn the Santiago Bernabeu outfit a 2-1 win over Malaga.

The win also helped end a two match defeat run in all competitions as Real extended their lead at the top of the table to four points over Sevilla and five points over Barcelona.

The two closest rivals of the Santiago Bernabeu outfit are set to play on Sunday.

However, Real were subjected to boos by own fans and Ramos has objected to such scenario’s.

“I’ve always said that we can never change the Bernabeu,” the 30-year-old said.

“I’ve spent many years here and like Marcelo said after the Cup game the other day, all of the great players have been whistled here at some point. It’s a wake-up call to make the team respond.”Sergio Ramos

“But it’s in the difficult moments that we need them to be behind us, not kicking us when we are down.”

“We know how our fans are and we like the way they are. The objective is that we all take this forward together.”
