According to fresh media reports, Leicester City Football club believes that their star midfielder N’Golo Kante who was one of the curators behind Premier League title triumph might leave the Club this summer.

Kante has impressed football enthusiasts and critics worldwide with his impeccable form this season. He made it to the team of the year and was also nominated for the PFA player of the year.

Kante’s consistent form throughout the season has attracted a lot of attention, not only from English clubs but also from other top notch European clubs.

Reports suggest that the talented young midfielder has recently turned down an offer of a new contract with the club and eyes to leave Leicester City this summer. It is believed that PSG, Arsenal and Chelsea are favourites to sign the playmaker.

Kante is believe have a release clause of £20million in his current contract with Leicester City, which makes the situation more favourable for the top European clubs to attain the services of the 25-year-old midfielder.

Arsenal seems to be the favourites in bringing the player to the Emirates however their recent deal with midfielder Granit Xhaka raises some doubts whether the club will join the race for another midfielder.

According to Le Parisien, French giants PSG have shown huge interest in bringing the youngster in Ligue 1 this transfer window. However it is believed that Kante is keen on moving to another English club and wants to remain in the Premier League.

Kante forms an integral part of Leicester City’s attacking trio along with Jamie Vardy and Riyadh Mahrez who helped the club to document its name in the history of premier league – a journey from the clutches of relegation to becoming the league champions.

Attacking genius Vardy and creative maestro Mahrez have announced that they are happy and will stay at the club. However Kante suggested the very opposite and refused to sign a new contract with the club and hinted at moving away to a bigger club this summer.

Pep Guardiola is also believed to be interested in the Frenchman but judging the recent turn of events with Chelsea not qualifying for the Champions league and a greater interest from Arsenal might lure the Frenchman to land up at the Emirates this summer.

In the meantime, PSG are also in the race to strike a deal with Kante as they have already approached his agent twice and are planning for another meeting this weekend. It is anticipated that the French club will offer a higher wage to bring Kante back to his own country.
