Barcelona star Lionel Messi gets royal treatment as he is chauffeured around in a luxury 15 vehicle fleet – which included jeeps, 4x4s and police motorcycles.
The legend visited Egypt after becoming an ambassador for the Tour n’ Cure campaign, and to promote the charity who support patients suffering from hepatitis C.
Messi took to Facebook and accentuated that he hopes to end the long list of people waiting to receive the proper medication.
He wrote: Medication against hepatitis C saves lives, let’s put an end to the waiting lists. #StopTheWait”
The 29-year-old’s first visit was cancelled due to a terrorist attack in Cairo, before choosing to stay with his teammates after losing 4-0 to Paris Saint-Germain.
He began his trip with the visit to the Pyramids of Giza, where he posed for a photograph. After the visit to one of the seven wonders, Messi kicked off the campaign at Mena House Hotel.
