Premier League giants Manchester United are ready to launch a late bid for Real Madrid superstar Gareth Bale, according to reports in Spain.

United have reportedly made an approach for Bale

The former Tottenham man is falling down the pecking order at Real Madrid after Isco and Marco Asensio displayed incredible form in the pre-season and also at the start of their La Liga campaign.

Isco is winning hearts at the Bernabeu this season

According to Spanish newspaper Marca, Isco, Marco Asensio, Marcelo, Dani Carvajal and Raphael Varane are set to sign new deals at the Bernabeu.

The report also states that Isco’s new deal, until 2021, will include a stratospheric buy-out clause of €700million, around £644million.

Asensio has had a blistering start to the season

Asensio has burst into the scene early on this season and is expected to sign a new deal that will him keep him at Real Madrid until 2023.

Asensio has shown huge potential and his recent performances for the Los Blancos have made it clear that Zidane will give him a shot ahead of injury-prone star Gareth Bale.

With the 2018 World Cup in Russia knocking at the door, Bale would need regular first-team football, but once Cristiano Ronaldo returns from his suspension, Bale will have to beat out Isco and Marco Asensio for a start.

However, according to Don Balon, Real Madrid would not be willing to sell the Welshman as they have no time in hand to rope in a replacement.
