Real Madrid Could Sell Toni Kroos To Man Utd To Fund Stunning Neymar Move

Published on:

La Liga giants Real Madrid are reportedly planning to offload Toni Kroos to Manchester United, Manchester City or PSG in order to raise funds for Neymar.

Manchester United could sign Real Madrid star Toni Kroos

According to recent reports, Real Madrid are keen on roping in Neymar as a long-term replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo, who has been linked with a move away from the club at the end of the season.

The Los Blancos will have to sell one of their stars to sign Neymar in order to comply with Financial Fair Play regulations.

And according to Spanish outlet Don Balon, Real Madrid are looking forward to sell Kroos to either Manchester United, Man City or PSG to pave way for Neymar.

Speculations suggest that the departure of Gareth Bale would not be enough for Real Madrid to stay within the Financial Fair Play regulations, and so club president Florentino Perez is now contemplating upon whether to sell Kroos, who has struggled to maintain consistency so far this season.

Jose Mourinho is a huge admirer of the German midfielder and it is being said that Man Utd are ready to rope him in if Real Madrid decide to sell.

Don Balon also say that PSG or Man City could also enter the race to sign Kroos.

Both PSG and City have a strong midfield but if players like Javier Pastore and Kevin De Bruyne decide to leave then both the clubs would have to add more power to their squad.

Man Utd almost roped in Kroos back in 2013.

Real Madrid plan to sell Toni Kroos to raise funds for Neymar

Back in December, David Moyes revealed that he was on the brink of signing Kroos during his single season at United but the move did not go through.

“Toni Kroos was agreed to come in the summer,” the Scot said.

“I had agreed it with Toni himself and his agent.”

Kroos joined the La Liga club from Bayern Munich in 2014 and since then the German has helped the Los Blancos to win the Champions League twice.
