West Ham United have now offered out-of-favour Manchester City defender Pablo Zabaleta a new life in the Premier League.

Man City have not yet offered the Argentine full-back a new contract and his current deal is set to expire at the end of the season.

Previously Hammers boss Slaven Bilic had monitored the availability of his Man City team-mate Bacary Sagna but now he has has shifted his attention to Zabaleta and the Hammers are offering the Argentine a a two-year, £100,000-a-week deal.

Zabaleta, 32, had arrived at the Etihad in August 2008 and he said: “I’m not getting any younger and we see new players coming in for the future.”

“You have to accept it, especially for this club which is so demanding in terms of trying to win trophies. I didn’t expect to be here so long.”

It is believed that Man City are also willing to offload Sagna and Gael Clichy as Pep Guardiola is keen on roping in Spurs’ Kyle Walker and Danny Rose and also Juventus star Alex Sandro.
