Arsenal have completed the signing of Deportivo La Coruna forward Lucas Perez. The transfer fee is believed to be in the range of £17m.
Lucas Perez was heavily linked with a move to Arsenal in the last few weeks and after days of speculation, the Deportivo La Coruna striker has finally signed a long-term contract with the Gunners, and would soon receive a squad number.

Lucas Perez displayed incredible form last season at Deportivo with 19 goals to his name in all competitions. He made a flying start this season after finding the net against Eibar. The talented striker started his career at Spanish club Atletico Madrid before moving to Rayo Vallecano.

He also enjoyed short spells at Karpaty Lviv in Ukraine and PAOK in Greece, and finally returned to his homeland to join Deportivo in 2014.
“He’s not only a goalscorer, he’s a guy who combines well with partners, who can give a final ball and makes good runs. He’s got a good eye for goal and had an outstanding season last year,” said Arsene Wenger while speaking about his latest signing.
Arsenal have also agreed in principle with Valencia centre-back Mustafi, who is all set to join the Gunners squad for a whooping £35m.
The crucial double deal is expected to take Arsenal’s total expenses in this transfer window to £100m. Earlier, Arsenal had already signed Swiss midfielder Granit Xhaka and defender Rob Holding. The new top-flight centre-back Mustafi and extremely talented striker Perez would add the much needed depth in the Arsenal squad.
