The striker has been offered to Chelsea for £65million.

Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund are ready to sell the Gabon striker, even though he has displayed incredible form – with 120 goals to his name in 189 appearances.

However, Blues boss Antonio Conte has maintained that Real Madrid forward Alvaro Morata is his main target to replace Diego Costa, who has been time off from training at Chelsea’s Cobham training ground in order to secure his move to La Liga giants Atletico Madrid.

Diego Costa has been given the opportunity to find a new club – with Atletico Madrid in pole position to secure the signatures of the Spanish hit-man.

Conte wants Costa to leave the club before the Blues travel to the USA on a pre-season tour next week.

Conte is yet to commit his future to Chelsea after he turned down a new contract earlier this summer.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang prefers a move to England

The Blues are desperate to tie down Conte amid huge interest from Serie A clubs.

The Blues have managed to make only one major signing so far this summer.

Antonio Rudiger joined the Blues from Seria A club AS Roma for a transfer fee of £34.2million and has become Chelsea’s first major signing this summer.

Antonio Rudiger admits he joined Chelsea to play under Antonio Conte.

He will wear the No 2 shirt, which was previously donned by Branislav Ivanovic, who joined Zenit St Petersburg in February.

Tiemoue Bakayoko is closing in on a move from Monaco

Meanwhile, Chelsea are confident of roping in Monaco man Tiemoue Bakayoko despite rumours that he has arrived in Manchester to complete a medical ahead of a move to Man Utd.

Danilo is set to join the Blues.
