Huge Boost For Arsenal As Hector Bellerin Signs New £100,000-A-Week Deal

Premier League side Arsenal have officially announced that Hector Bellerin has signed his new bumper deal.

Hector Bellerin has signed a new six-and-a-half year bumper deal with Arsenal which is worth £100,000-per-week including bonuses. . The 21 year old is now one of the top earners at the club after penning the new deal.

bellerinThe Spanish full-back had joined Arsenal from Barcelona’s youth set-up and has proved his mettle at the North London club and is now being considered as one of the best defenders in Premier League.

The 21-year-old Spaniard signed for Arsenal from Barcelona’s famous youth academy La Masia in 2011 and signed his first professional contract in 2013.

bellerin-2Earlier, Hector Bellerin was heavily kinked with a move to La Liga giants Barcelona in the upcoming January transfer window. Barcelona boss Luis Enrique had identified Bellerin as the right player to add more strength to the squad.

Manchester City had also been highly linked with Bellerin over the last few months. Guardiola is believed to be fond of the player, who was a part of the La Masia setup during Guardiola’s managerial stint at Barcelona.

hector-bellerinHowever, Bellerin opted to stay put at Arsenal and signed a new mega contract with the Gunners.

Arsene Wenger played a huge role in shaping Bellerin’s career when he arrived at Arsenal from Barcelona at the age of 16 in 2011 and the Gunners boss paved a platform for him to develop after including him in the first-team in 2014.

After signing the new contract, Bellerin said: “I’m really, really happy and this club is my home right now,” Bellerin told Arsenal Player. “I’ve been here for more than five years now so I was really, really excited when the club told me that they wanted to extend my contract.

“Arsenal is not only about being a footballer, you have to be a good person to play here. That’s what everyone transmits inside the club. You represent more than just a football club.

“I’m a player who tries to be an example for everyone, not just on the pitch but off it as well.
