Man City’s Joe Hart Travels To Italy For Torino Medical

joe hartManchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart is all set to join Serie A club Torino as he agreed on a one-year loan deal.

The out-of-favour Man City goalkeeper skipped training with the England squad on Monday in order to fly off to Italy and complete a medical ahead of the loan deal.

“Yes, Joe Hart will play at Torino. It’s done,” said Hart’s agent Jonathan Barnett .

“He has said yes to the club and now Manchester City have given the OK. It’s all true, it’s certain,” he added.

Manchester City agreed in principle with Serie A side Torino over the season-long loan deal for English goalkeeper Joe Hart. Reports also confirm that Man City have agreed to pay a portion of Hart’s hefty wage packet of £120,000-a-week.

Hart was also linked with a move to Premier League side Sunderland but the English goalkeeper was keen on making a switch to Serie A.

“The goalkeeper is an idea we wanted to follow,” said Torino sporting director Gianluca Petrachi

“If it’s Hart then good, otherwise we will certainly be doing something on the market for that role,” he added.

Amid rumours linking the English goalkeeper with a move away from Man City, Guardiola chose to promote last season’s second choice Willy Caballero ahead of Hart in in all three Premier League games so far this season.

However, Three Lions boss Allardyce has made it clear that Joe Hart must find game time at Torino in order to be considered in the long term.
