Tottenham Star Harry Kane Linked With £177M Switch To Real Madrid Next Summer

La Liga giants Real Madrid are preparing to make a club-record £177million bid to lure away Tottenham superstar Harry Kane to Spain next summer, according to Spanish reports.

Harry Kane

Kane has displayed incredible form for Spurs over the course of the last three seasons and has emerged as one of the most gifted strikers in Europe.

Kane maintained his fine run of form as the England striker has now scored as many Premier League goals as Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.

Former Manchester United forward Ronaldo took six seasons to score 84 goals – but Kane, who is just into his fourth season for Spurs, has matched the Real Madrid ace.

Kane’s opening goal against Everton in September was his 100th overall for the club after 169 appearances

Ronaldo scored 84 goals in 196 games but Spurs hit-man Kane equaled the Portugal skipper’s Premier League goal total in just 123 games.

The England striker has scored 27 league goals this year and has 13 goals to his name for club and country during September.

He has already scored 11 goals in all competitions for Spurs this season, with a further two on international duty for England.

He had scored a perfect hat-trick against Apoel Nicosia in the Champions League on Tuesday before going into Saturday’s Premier League clash with Huddersfield where he continued his sublime form by bagging a brace.

And Kane’s red-hot form has caught the eye of the European Champions RealMadrid, according to Spanish website Don Balon.

After Morata joined Chelsea this summer, Real Madrid lack options up front with Benzema out of action due to injury. Now the Los Blancos bosses have realised that they desperately need a new striker for next season and have suddenly turned their attentions to England star Kane.

The report also states that Real Madrid are ready to sell Benzema next summer, despite the Frenchman signing a new four-year deal with the Spanish club this summer.

There are also doubts over the future of Gareth Bale at Real Madrid as a series of injuries continue to dent the Welshman’s La Liga career.

However, Spurs bosses have maintained their stance that they would not sell their most prized asset, especially as they are on the verge of moving into their new stadium next season.
