Having had an enjoyable 27 year police career, David Lowe have now established a new career in academia where I am a principal lecturer at Liverpool John Moores University's Centre for Advanced Police Studies teaching and researching terrorism, security, policing, human rights, criminal law and public law. He is also currently assisting Merseyside Police's Prevent team on issues related to radicalisation to extremist causes and assist the London Metropolitan Police's counter-terrorism unit SO15 as an expert witness on terrorists' use of tradecraft.
