Arsenal Would Have Beaten Leicester For The Title If Officials Hadn’t Goofed Up

A 12 year title drought could have ended for had the officials not made crucial errors.

An analysis undertaken by SunSport’s experts indicated that Arsenal would have finished on top of the , while Champions would have finished second if the referees had got all their calls correct.

The panel analysed all 380 matches to determine key penalty-box calls that went in favor of both the home and away teams, the panel also had a look at the goals which should and should not have been counted.

The analysis also showed that neither of the Manchester clubs would have finished in the top four had the refereeing errors not had an impact on the games.
