Oblak kept a total of 24 clean-sheets, the 23 year old has acted like a wall in front of the Atletico goal.
2. Mario Gaspar (RB)
Gaspar has risen from the ranks of Villarreal and had a solid 2015/16 season.
The stylis right back made 32 appearances for the El Submarino Amarillo.
3. Diego Godin (CB)
Godin was like an immovable force in Diego Simeones defense.
The Uruguayn international played in 27 games and was an absolute delight to watch.
4. Pepe (CB)
The 33 year old Portugese international had a great 2015/16 season.
The Real Madrid star put in strong performances in the heart of the Reals defense, keeping the title fight alive till the last day.
5. Marcelo (LB)
Marcelo was another reason for the late resurgence of Real Madrid in the second half of the season.
After a shaky start to the season, the managerial change saw a boost in Marcelo’s confidence.
6. Saul Niguez (DM)
At just 21 years of age Saul Niguez cemented his place in the Atletico team and made over 40 appearances in all competition.
The anchorman scored eight goals and provided four assists. He is sure to be a crucial part of Atleticos future.
7. Andres Iniesta (MC)
Iniesta just doesn’t seem to slow down, as the charismatic midfield maestro had another amazing year with the Catalan giants Barcelona.
Even though he was used carefully this season by Luis Enrique, the extra-rest only seem to have worked in favour of the Spain international.
8. Antoine Griezmann (AMR)
Griezmann had a good 2014/15 season and has since grown as a player this season.
Griezmann led the Atletico attack and scored 22 goals and provided 5 assists in La Liga this season.
9. Lionel Messi (AML)
The five time Ballon’d Or winner had another amazing year with Barcelona.
Messi scored 26 goals and provided 16 assists in 33 games and will sure be in contention for Europes elite footballer award this season.
10. Cristiano Ronaldo (STR)
Ronaldo has adjusted very well with the changing dynamics of his body, and the 32 year old Real Madrid superstar has transformed his game from being a pacy winger to a complete forward.
The Portugese captain scored 35 goals and provided 11 assists in 36 Liga BBVA appearances this season.
11. Luis Suarez (STR)
The Barcelona striker has gone from strength to strength since joining the Catalan club in 2014.
Suarez won the Pichichi Trophy this year, after being the highest goal scorer in the Liga BBVA, he scored 40 league goals and provided another 16 assists.
