“He does not stay (still), he takes the space with speed and he’s very good. He’s a complete player. He didn’t seem to be but in the end he is.

“We know he’s a really good player and things are going well for him – but Tottenham, not just Kane.

“Tottenham has always been a great club but it is constantly moving. This team is improving and the coach has done a great job.

“He will do his best for us not to win,” said the Real boss.

However, Zidane remains hopeful that another former Spurs player would rule the midfield on Tuesday.

“Luka’s quality you know – he is a very important player,” Zidane added.

“When he plays, he’s really good and when the others play they always do really well. We find the holes and find the solutions to win the matches.”
