Shenhua have gone seven games without a victory after a 0-0 draw at Shenyang. On the other hand, Liaoning only got 7 points in the last 8 games, which means they will have to start fighting for staying in China’s Super League.

Liaoning failed to score in the last 3 games. Their poor offense is the short slab of this relegation struggler.

“We can not score after making chances. That explained why we couldnot win,” said Liaoning coach Ma Lin.

Liaoning had the scoring chance at the 19th minute as James Chamanga, who carried Liaoning staying in the top league last season, missed a one on one against Li Shuai. Shenhua’ s striker Giovanni Moreno and midfielder Fredy Guarin also had chances to change the result, but both of them missed.

“We want to win the game, but Liaoning did a good job in defense,” said Shenhua’ s coach Gregorio Manzano.
