Football Transfer News: Bayern Munich Confirms Signing Vidal From Juventus

Arturo Vidal Juventus Bayern Munich Arturo Vidal, the Chilean midfielder was the hot topic in this summer transfer window with clubs like Manchester United and Arsenal locking horns to secure the services of the Juventus playmaker.

The successful Copa America campaign acted as a spur and rumours linked Vidal with several clubs. However recent media reports confirm that the Bundesliga champion side, Bayern Munich have agreed to sign Vidal from Juventus.

Bayern Munich Chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge have confirmed that the deal is done at a press conference Guangzhou, China where the team is currently on tour.

Vidal is being regarded as a direct replacement for veteran Bastian Schweinsteiger after the German midfielder joined Manchester United on a three-year deal this summer.
Reports confirm that Juventus and Bayern Munich have come to an agreement over a 37 million euro (£26million) deal plus bonuses for the Chilean playmaker.

The former Bayer Leverkusen star is currently on holiday in Miami after his successful participation in the Copa America and he is due in Munich at the weekend to undergo his medical.

After defeating Argentina in a Copa America thriller, Vidal is currently on vacation in Miami and is expected to arrive in Munich by this weekend for undergoing the medical formalities.

Vidal made his debut for Juventus in 2011 after arriving from Bayer Leverkusen. He tasted instant success in the club and in four seasons, the Chilean legend played a quintessential role behind winning four back to back Serie A title. Vidal exhibited top notch form in the Coppa Italia and anchored the midfield to help his club clinch the title.
