PUTELLAS IS THE BEST

While it was all about who deserved it more in the Men’s Ballon d’Or category between Lionel Messi and Robert Lewandowski, there was no such fuss in the women’s category with Barcelona’s Alexia Putellas the clear winner after a stellar season with the Spanish side where they won a treble.

The midfielder who runs the show at Barcelona has had a stellar 2020-21 season in which she scored 27 goals and provided 19 assists as the team was a cut above the rest.

With Putellas at the heart of their midfield. The team won their sixth Primera Division title, eight Copa da le Reina and maiden UEFA Women’s Champions League title.
