Real Madrid Star Cristiano Ronaldo Brings In Lawyers To Negotiate Bernabeu Exit

Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly tasked his lawyers to help him negotiate his exit from Real Madrid.

Cristiano Ronaldo wanted to leave Real Madrid in the summer

The former Manchester United forward was ‘outraged’ after being accused of evading €14.7 million (£13m) in tax by Spanish prosecutors – and had threatened to leave Real Madrid last summer.

Ronaldo eventually opted to stay at the Bernabeu when Real Madrid issued full support to the four-time Ballon d’Or winner in the wake of tax evasion charges.

Ronaldo has made poor start in the La Liga this season but Los Blancos boss Zinedine Zidane has always come out in his defence.

The report says that the Portugal skipper has asked his lawyers to strike a deal with Real Madrid to lower his stratospheric release clause.

Ronaldo’s current contract with the Los Blancos has a whooping £879million release clause – more than his arch-rival Lionel Messi, who signed a new deal with Barcelona last month.
