The Big Swede was released by the Red Devils this summer but he has returned to Carrington after the club offered to help him overcome his huge setback.

The 35-year-old was getting chauffeured into United’s training ground as he rested one hand on the window in a white top.

Ibrahimovic’s contract officially expired on Monday, despite finishing last season as United’s top goalscorer with 28 goals.

The forward took to social media to show his fans he is way ahead of schedule on his return to full fitness.

He began by posting a video video of himself kicking a ball, less than a month after his ligament operation on his knee.

Then after it was announced United would not extend his deal, Ibra posted a video of himself with boots on in bed, hinting his playing days are far from over.

Following his operation, the forward’s super agent Mino Railo said his knee is so strong that ‘doctors want him back for research’.

Ibrahimovic has also been linked with a move to Atletico Madrid, with Diego Simeone claiming he could have a “Christian Vierei-type impact” on the club.

But Atleti currently have a transfer ban in place for the summer but with Ibra not set to be fit till at least the new year, the move could work.

He also sparked rumours he could return to Paris Saint-Germain after posting a picture with his former pals Marco Verratti and Maxwell.
