Manchester United target Antoine Griezmann has hinted that he will snub the Theater of Dreams if they are unable to qualify for the Champions League.
Jose Mourinho’s side are sixth in the table and just 2 points off fourth placed Arsenal.
The Red Devils are unbeaten in their last 15 matches in the Premier League and closing in the gap on the teams above them.
But it is believed that Antoine Griezmann will snub Manchester United if they do not break into the top four despite matching Atletico Madrid’s £85 million release clause.
Should the 25-year-old make the move, he will receive the same salary as French team-mate Paul Pogba – £15 million a year – and will sign a five-year deal.
It is rumored that United have agreed personal terms with Antoine Griezmann and are ready to hand him the iconic no.7 shirt recently vacated by Memphis Depay.
Club’s executive vice chairman Ed Woodward is confident to close the deal.
