Paul Pogba’s Agent Raiola Slams Man Utd Transfer Rumours

Published on:

Mino Raiola, the agent of Juventus superstar Paul Pogba, has ridiculed the rumours linking his client with a move back to former club Manchester United.

Pogba has been heavily linked with the Manchester based club, with new boss Jose Mourinho said to be a huge fan of the 23-year old.

United had also hoped that smoothing of relations with Raiola after Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s signing will also help their case, but things seem to be going south at the moment for the Red Devils.

Manchester United chief Ed Woodward was confident of landing the flamboyant play-maker for a world-record fee in excess of a £100 million, but Raiola has dismissed any such deal.

“All of what you read is bullshit,” he said. “That’s all there is.”

Raiola who was earlier reported to be very interested in conducting the business, has suddenly turned tight lip, it was also reported that super-agent was to be given a whooping £32 million for his services if the deal was to go through.

Though United are still confident of securing Pogba’s services, as Woodward didn’t board the flight with the rest of the squad, United have left for a pre-season tour to China.

Pogba will reportedly be offered a £13 million-a-year contract, along with performance-related add-ons.
