Chelsea are set to award boss Antonio Conte a new £8 million-a-year contract.
The former Juventus boss has transformed the atmosphere at the Stamford Bridge since taking over last summer.

Conte has guided the Blues back at the top of the Premier League and is all set to win the title in his maiden season in English football.
Chelsea are leading the league table with a healthy 10-point lead – with Conte getting an original target of returning Chelsea to top four and qualifying for Champions League.

Conte signed a three-year deal with Chelsea, which was set to expire in 2019 and was reported to be around £5 million-a-year.
The new deal will see him earn much more than what he currently makes in West London, although it will still be almost half of what Pep Guardiola and Jose Mourinho earn at the Manchester clubs.
The deal is all but done, however, Chelsea will wait till the summer to make the official announcement.

Conte could very well win a domestic double by then as the runaway league leaders face Manchester United in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup at the bridge on Monday.
Meanwhile, reports in Italy suggest that Inter Milan are willing to break the bank for the Italian – but Chelsea bosses are certain that they can keep hold of the former Azzurri boss.

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is said to be on vey good terms with Conte and has visited Cobham on multiple occasions.
Conte’s wife Elisabetta Muscarello and daughter Vittoria are all set to move to London in the summer.
With insiders claiming that the new contract is a reward for the good work done at the club and not due to the fears of him getting lured away by Inter.
