Chelsea Set To Reward Antonio Conte With New £8M-A-Year Deal To Ward Off Interest From Inter Milan

are set to award boss a new £8 million-a-year contract.

The former boss has transformed the atmosphere at the Stamford Bridge since taking over last summer.

Conte has guided the Blues back at the top of the Premier League and is all set to win the title in his maiden season in English football.

Conte signed a three-year deal with Chelsea, which was set to expire in 2019 and was reported to be around £5 million-a-year.

The new deal will see him earn much more than what he currently makes in West London, although it will still be almost half of what and earn at the Manchester clubs.

The deal is all but done, however, Chelsea will wait till the summer to make the official announcement.

Conte could very well win a domestic double by then as the runaway league leaders face in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup at the bridge on Monday.

Meanwhile, reports in Italy suggest that are willing to break the bank for the Italian – but Chelsea bosses are certain that they can keep hold of the former Azzurri boss.

Conte’s wife Elisabetta Muscarello and daughter Vittoria are all set to move to London in the summer.

With insiders claiming that the new contract is a reward for the good work done at the club and not due to the fears of him getting lured away by Inter.
