Arsene Wenger has recently come out suggesting major transfer deal underway to boost his attacking line up for Arsenal, which according to Daily Mail involves a £75million combination for Riyad Mahrez and Alexandre Lacazette.
Leicester striker Jamie Vardy turned down the Gunners’ advances earlier this summer but Arsene Wenger’s men are now looking to push through a deal for his team-mate Mahrez for £35m.
Winger Mahrez, voted Player of the Year by footballers’ union the PFA last season, and Lyon striker Lacazette are top of Wenger’s wanted list.
And Wenger is also keen to lure Lacazette to the Emirates Stadium in an attempt to bolster his strike force ahead of a bid to land the Premier League title this season.
The report claims Lyon value Lacazette, who scored 23 goals in all competitions last season, at around £40m.
