Arsene Wenger’s hunt for a striker could very well lead him to Manchester City’s Stevan Jovetic.
Jovetic who spent last season on loan at Inter, has caught the eye of Arsenal boss, and he is also said to have attracted interest from Russian side Spartak Moscow.
The Montenegro international had joined Inter Milan on an 18-month loan, but will be sent back to Manchester 6 months early.
Arsenal have been looking for a striker for a long time now, and with Jovetic’s deal expiring early, Wenger is monitoring the situation very closely in order to take advantage of the situation.
Wenger is looking to bolster his attacking options, and will be looking to partner Jovetic with Frenchman Oliver Giroud and English forward Danny Welbeck.
While Theo Walcott is another option at Arsene Wenger’s disposal.
But Wenger is set to face stiff competition from 21-time Russian league winners Spartak Moscow.
However the 26-year old could only find the net 7 times in 28 appearances last season for Inter and failed to make any impact.
The Montenegro international made his senior debut in 2006 and has scored 75 goals and provided 40 assists in over 240 appearances.
