Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has stated his desire to bring in three more players this season to bolster his squad.
Arsenal were favorites to win the title this year after a bad start to the season for almost all the other contenders and were top of the table in December, but injuries and bad form ended their title chances.
The French coach insists that he will not go on a shopping spree as he does not want to disrupt the squad harmony.
“We want to keep the group stable over the summer while strengthening where possible” Wenger told reporters.
“You want the group to be stimulated and to believe that we have improved the quality.
“I must say, we want to combine technical stability with players that we know want to play and know our game. Maybe bring in three players for example. That’s the right level for me.”
