Football fans rejoice! After Pele’s visit last month now it’s the turn of yet another Brazil and world football legend to make his presence felt in India.
According to a report in the Times of India, former soccer superstar Ronaldo will be the special guest of Delhi Dynamos during their ISL match against Mumbai City FC on November 6.
In the Capital, Ronaldo will be reuniting with his former Brazil and Real Madrid teammate Roberto Carlos, who is currently the marquee player cum manager of Delhi Dynamos.
Ronaldo has scored 62 goals for Brazil in 98 matches and is the second highest goal-scorer for his national team, after Pele.
He has played in three World Cups (1998, 2002 and 2006) and won the Golden Ball for the player of the tournament in 1998, where he suffered a mysterious seizure hours before the final against France that led to an unfortunate end to a wonderful tournament. However, he helped Brazil win 2002 world cup with a brace in the final.
