He Can Say What He Wants’ – Vardy Hits Back At Owen For Criticism

star has hit back at critics, especially former striker Michael Owen for questioning his abilities.

Vardy had been out-of-form and on a 16 match goal-less run before scoring a brilliant hat-trick to dismantle .

Michael Owen had criticized the former Fleetwood forward saying that he wasn’t a natural finisher, but Vardy said that such negative opinions did not matter to him.

“I don’t listen to that. He can say what he wants. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.” Vardy said.

“I’m not going to read anything to it and that’s up to them what they say. I’ll just get on with it, work on the training field and hopefully take it into the matches.”

Vardy’s brilliance helped end a five-match win-less run for the King Power Stadium outfit.
