Cristiano Ronaldo Angry After ‘Slap’ From Real Madrid Chairman Perez

Published on:

Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo was reportedly not overly amused when he was confronted by club president Florentino Perez ahead of 1-0 Champions League win over Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday.

Ronaldo received a playful slap on the cheek from Perez, who questioned him over recent comments made in German magazine Kicker as he met the Real team at the Bernabeu.

In the interview, Ronaldo refused to rule out a potential departure from Real. However, when questioned by Perez over the comments, he responded angrily “What did I say? I never said that. I said it differently.”

The full exchange between Perez and Ronaldo can be seen below:

Reports of Ronaldo’s potentially imminent departure from Real have been widespread for some time now. He is regularly linked with a return to former club Manchester United, while Ligue 1 giants PSG are also often cited as potential suitors.
