GLADBACH TO ROLL OVER HOFF

Published on:

HOFFENHEIM VS MONCHENGLADBACH

Borussia Monchengladbach travel to Hoffenheim to try and extend their unbeaten run in their bid to qualify for European football next season. Hoffenheim are in dreadful form and have gone five games without a win, dropping to 12th position in the league. They aren’t in danger of being relegated and don’t have a lot to play for in the remainder of the league season, meaning they could potentially be victims of a lack of motivation in this game.

Monchengladbach seem to be hitting form at an opportune moment as they are currently on a four game unbeaten run, that has lifted them to seventh place in the German top-flight, just three points outside the top six places.  A victory would increase the pressure on the teams immediately above them and they will be fully motivated coming into this match.

GAME CHANGERS

Andrej Kramaric is the top scorer for Hoffenheim and the onus will again be on the Croatian forward to deliver the goods against Gladbach as Hoffenheim continue their bid to qualify for European football next season.

He is the club’s highest goal scorer in both the league and in terms of overall goals in all competitions and will be pivotal to all attacking moves created by Hoffenheim.

Likewise, for Monchengladbach Lars Stindl is the highest goal scorer for the club when it comes to the overall goal tally in all competitions. The 32-year old German has scored 12 times and created 8 goals for Gladbach and will be tasked with leading from the front for his teammates in this tie.

PREDICTION

It looks like Monchengladbach will come away with all three points from this match with Hoffenheim not looking like real competitors at this point of the season. Monchengladbach should be able to win this comfortably and FootTheBall is forecasting a 3-0 win for the visitors which would see them continue their fantastic run of form in the German league.
