ISL Auction 2015; Mumbai FC Bags India Skipper Sunil Chhetri; Pool B Bidding Begins

Indian Super League(ISL) 2015: The biggest football player auction probably after IPl is currently underway in Mumbai. The fortunes of 50 domestic football players could change when the Indian Super League’s big day dawns with the first-ever player auction involving 10 India stars.

4:30 PM: List of players picked in the sixth and seventh round:

North East United FC select centre back Zohmingliana Ralte as their sixth pick.

Mumbai City FC add 26 year old Pratesh Shirodkar to their squad for Rs 9 lakhs.

Delhi Dynamos make their final picks too as they select midfielder Gunashekar Vignesh for Rs 12 lakhs and defender Zodingliana Ralte for Rs 2 lakhs.

 

4:15 PM: List of players picked in the fifth round:

Pune City sign defender Govin Singh for Rs 8 lakhs.

Chennaiyin FC have drafted goalkeeper Nidhin Lal to their squad for Rs 16 lakhs. They had already bought

Edel from Kolkata in the off-season.

India skipper and talisman player, Sunil Chhetri started with a base price of Rs. 80 lakhs. Mumbai FC bags him for an incredible Rs. 1.2 crores

Quick tackle and save by Pune FC as they bag Eugeneson Lyngdoh for a whopping Rs. 1.05 crores outbidding North East United and Kerala FC. Lyngodh’s base price was Rs. 27.5 lakhs

Delhi Dynamos makes bid for defence, bags Anas Edathodika for Rs. 41 lakhs, not much from his base price of Rs. 40 lakhs

Midfielder Thoi Singh is sold for a whopping Rs. 86 lakhs with a base price of Rs. 39 lakhs

Star player, Jackichand Singh with a base price of Rs. 20 lakh is sold to Pune FC for Rs. 45. Jachichand was the first player in the star list to be sold off.
