Barcelona boss Luis Enrique has stepped up the mind games as he launched an all out attack on heated rivals Real Madrid.
Enrique suggested that the Los Blancos could still lose the La Liga title, despite making a huge stride towards winning the league with a win over Sevilla.
Real beat Sevilla 4-1 to stay on level with Barca on points – while also having a game in hand.
Zinedine Zidane’s men will win the league title for the first time since 2012 if they can pick up four points from the remaining two fixtures.
However, Luis Enrique has refused to give up on the title race just yet as he suggested that things could still change.
“They have two very difficult games against two teams, Celta and Malaga, who we have lost against this season,” the Barca boss said.
“If we have lost there then anyone can lose there and I want to point out that we have lost in Vigo many times.”
He also suggested that the media had spun his words when it was reported that he questioned if Malaga will fight hard against Real Madrid on the final match day when Barca face Eibar at home.
“That is not true, words have been put in my mouth,” he said after his comments prior to the Las Palmas game were put to him.
“I have never doubted anyone’s professionalism. We just have to win next Sunday against Eibar at Camp Nou.”
“We have one game left and clearly the objective is to win that game, to give us a chance to be champions.”
