Arouna Kone grabbed an 86th-minute equalizer as Everton twice came from behind to draw 2-2 with Watford in the English Premier League on Saturday.
The Ivory Coast striker denied Watford victory in its first top-flight match in eight years when he slotted home a finish following a lay-off by Romelu Lukaku, three minutes after fellow substitute Odion Ighalo put the promoted side back in the lead.
Watford went ahead at Goodison Park through Miguel Layun’s half-volley in the 14th minute, only for Ross Barkley to make it 1-1 with a shot from just outside the area after 76 minutes.
It was Quique Sanchez Flores’ first match in charge of Watford.
