Messi Snubs Luis Enrique By ‘NOT Inviting Ex-Barca Boss To His And Antonella’s Wedding’

Argentine legend Lionel Messi has not invited former Barcelona boss Luis Enrique to his wedding, according to FootTheBall sources.

Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi is now set to marry his childhood sweetheart Antonella Roccuzzo on June 30 in his home country.

And after earning a legendary status in the world of football, Messi is now set to add another feather to his name. He will now tie the nuptial knot with his long-term girlfriend and mother to his two children.

And sources reveal that Luis Enrique, who guided the Catalan side to two La Liga triumphs and a Champions League title during his three-year reign at Barcelona, has not been invited at the wedding event.

The Argentine superstar has invited 21 of his closest team-mates to the wedding ceremony in Rosario Argentina.

Enrique has been snubbed for the occasion but club staff including physiotherapists, masseurs, medics and first-team doctors has been invited.

Barca skipper Iniesta has inforemed beforehand that he would not be able to attend the event.

Messi has also asked guests not to gift then any money and instead donate to his charity.

One of the cutest couple in the footballing fraternity fell in love when they were teenagers. The pair started dating in 2007.

They spent their childhood days in Santa Fe, Argentina, before Messi left for joining the youth academy at Barcelona aged 13.

Messi and Antonella have two children together – 15 month old Mateo and four-year-old Thiago.
