AC Milan wonder-kid Gianluigi Donnarumma was at the receiving end of rare criticism after a howling error from him allowed bottom piling Pescara to steal a point from the Rossoneri.
The 18-year-old is one of the most exciting youngster in Europe and is being chased by some of the biggest clubs on the continent.
It was a rare mistake from the Italy international that allowed Pescara to take a shocking lead as he mis-controlled a back pass from Gabriel Paletta in the eleventh minute.
Donnarumma is seen as the long-term successor of the legendary Italy stopper Gianluigi Buffon after having made his debut at the age of 16 for AC Milan.
Gigio has established himself as a first-team regular at the club, but his mistake could have cost the European qualification contenders a shock defeat.
However, to the golie’s relief Mario Pasalic scored an equalizer just 4 minutes from half-time.
Although, dropped points meant that Milan are still in the seventh position, nine points adrift of a Champions League qualification spot.
A moment to forget for Donnarumma…?
