Pep Guardiola’s La La Land! Manchester City Boss Finally See’s Light With Sergio Aguero, But Hails Claudio Bravo As World’s Best

Published on:

Manchester City boss has hailed calamity keeper Claudio Bravo as the best in the world.

Bravo signed for City last summer from Barcelona as Pep looked to replace long-standing goalie and fan favorite Joe Hart at the Etihad Stadium.

The Chilean has endured difficult time ever-since making the switch to the Premier League and he has since been dropped from the first-team by Guardiola.

However, the Catalan is still keeping faith in the 33-year-old and has lauded him, despite conceding a tame goal against Hull City – after being recalled to the first-team.

“I decide [to put him in the side],” said Guardiola.

“I had no reason, Willy [Caballero] is training good. I will decide game by game.”

“With our build up Claudio is the best goalkeeper in the world with [Marc Andre] Ter Stegen and Manuel Neuer in the build-up, with the feet, and he help us a lot to create good build-up.”

Pep was also full of praise for star striker Sergio Aguero, hailing him for having made a long stride in the last month.

Aguero was on the score-sheet against Hull – and has scored 10 goals in his last 10 appearances, taking his tally to 28 goals in all competition this season.

“Sergio make an amazing step forward in the last two months,” said Guardiola.

“He is playing unbelievable, scoring one goal a game.”

“I didn’t speak with him but I am pretty sure he is so happy. He is a guy who likes to score goals and he did it again.”

Win over Hull has boosted City’s chances of qualifying for the Champions League as they solidified their lead to seven points over fifth placed Arsenal – although the Gunners have two games in hand.
