Real Madrid News: Neymar’s Manager Unai Emery Reacts To Florentino Perez Transfer Claim

Paris Saint-Germain boss Unai Emery has responded to claims from Florentino Perez that winning the Ballon d’Or will become easier for Neymar at Real Madrid.

Real Madrid president Perez had said Neymar will have higher chances of winning the the Ballon d’Or at the Bernabeu than at PSG.

“Being in Madrid would make it easier to win the Ballon d’Or,” admitted Perez.

“Real Madrid is a club which gives all you need as a big player.

“Everyone knows that I already wanted to sign him at one point.”

The statement from Perez has now kept the rumour mill ticking as speculation suggest that Real Madrid are eyeing to launch a sensational offer to rope in the former Barcelona forward.

Neymar joined PSG from Barcelona for a world-record £200m in August.

And PSG boss Emery accentuated that the Brazilian star can achieve his career goals which also includes winning the Ballon d’Or, at PSG.

“(Perez) would like to have him, but he is here, in Paris,” Emery said defiantly in his press conference ahead of Saturday’s Ligue 1 clash with Lille.

“I’m convinced he will get both collective goals and individual rewards here.”

Neymar hit out at the media when asked about a move to Real Madrid

Last month, Neymar stormed out when asked about rumours linking him with a move to Real Madrid.

Rumours about a move to the Bernabeu intensified following claims that despite enjoying certain privileges at Paris, Neymar is reportedly unhappy at his new club and is said to be seeking a move back to the La Liga.
