France legend Thiery Henry asserted that signing Zlatan Ibrahimovic this summer will be a positive move for Manchester United and he believes that Zlatan still has enough to offer and will be a big hit at Old Trafford.

Zlatan has recently confirmed that Manchester United have approached him to strike a deal this summer and he also hinted at  other offers coming his way from big Premier League clubs.

Jose Mourinho was officially announced as the new Manchester United Manager on Friday and critics are of the opinion that the Portuguese manager will look forward to make Ibrahimovic his first signing this summer as he was hugely successful with Zlatan at Inter Milan.

Thiery Henry and Zlatan Ibrahimovic were once the main names in the Barcelona attack and the French international believes that Zlatan has nothing to prove at this stage of his career but his top notch quality and personality will highly beneficial to revamp the Manchester United Squad.

“For me it’s a no-brainer if they can get Ibrahimovic,” Henry told Sky Sports. “I’ve played with the man, he’s a great guy, professional, funny.

“When he goes on the field he’s an animal but out of it he’s a class act. I cannot say anything bad about him and I think he can be a success for United and the Premier League.”

Ibrahimovic left Paris Saint-Germain after becoming the club’s all time leading goalscorer with 156 goals to his name in 180 appearances, winning four consecutive Ligue 1 titles in the process.

This season Zlatan became the all-time leading goalscorer with 156 goals from 180 appearances before leaving the club as a free agent. The Swedish striker played a pivotal role in helping PSG winning 4 back to back Ligue 1 titles.
