Chelsea To Set New Transfer Record By Signing Alex Sandro And Tiemoue Bakayoko For Combined £100M

Premier League champions Chelsea are set to make Juventus star Alex Sandro the world’s most expensive defender as they prepare a £100million double deal.

The Blues hierarchy are on the brink of agreeing a transfer fee with Serie A champions Juventus over a move for Brazilian left-back Sandro, following an increased offer of over £61m.

Chelsea are also on the verge of signing Monaco midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko, who will arrive in England in the next 48 hours to sign a £37m deal with the Blues.

Meanwhile Blues boss Antonio Conte is also eyeing to rope in Southampton defender Virgil van Dijk.

Conte means serious business this summer as he is determined to bolster his squad as they return to European football and also to defend the Premier League title in the upcoming season.

After he ropes in Sandro and Bakayoko, the Italian manager is set to shift his attention to Van Dijk. The Blues bosses are planning to launch a a £60m bid for the 25-year-old Dutch defender.

Chelsea are desperate to land the Dutchman and this has set the panic alarm for new Southampton boss Mauricio Pellegrino. Although it is believed that the Blues would have to shell out more than what they are ready to spend on Sandro to secure the services of Van Dijk.

Earlier, the Saints had accused Liverpool of tapping up their defender which forced the Reds to apologise and cool down their interest in the Dutchman.

Sources now reveal that Van Dijk still has five years left on his current contract and the Saints are not willing to sell him this summer, and this could force Chelsea to launch a tempting bid of £70m to make them change their mind.

Conte is also looking to bring back Romelu Lukaku to Stamford Bridge and this might see them spending £75m on the Belgian – taking his summer spending spree to around £250m.

Sandro has displayed incredible for Juventus in the last few seasons and has now also attracted interest from the Manchester United and Manchester City

Sources reveal that The Manchester based English giants are set to fight Chelsea in a bidding war for the 25-year-old.

Although, the Bianconeri are desperate to keep hold of their star defender and might offer him a new contract to ward off interest from the filthy rich Brit giants.

But Conte is confident that an increased offer of £61m would convince the Juventus hierarchy to sell the Brazilian left-back.

Bakayoko’s arrival at Stamford Bridge might threaten Nemanja Matic’s place in the starting line-up but Conte is keen on keeping the Serbian defensive midfielder, as the Italian boss wants two players for every position.

However, it is believed that Matic is worried about seeing his game-time reduced and is keen on a reunion with former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho at Manchester United.
